Yellow Labrador Retrievers

Yellow Labrador Retriever

The Yellow Labrador Retriever differs from other Labrador Retrievers only by the color of the coat which is, quite obviously, Yellow.  Either and English Lab or and American Lab, this breed  was originally developed in Canada, they were trained to bring in fishing nets from the icy-cold water for the fishermen. A breed of medium size, the Labrador Retriever is very active and strongly built. It has a fairly wide muzzle and medium sized eyes that are set well apart. Their coat is thick and dense and the under-layer is water resistant. Webbed feet aid the dog when swimming, which it is known to have a particular fondness for.

The Yellow Labrador Retriever is affectionate and loyal towards its owner and family. They are highly intelligent and eager to please which makes them quite easy to train. Aggression should not be present in this breed and, if so, is considered a fault. Yellow Labrador Retrievers are very sociable dogs and get on very well with children, once socialized, making them fantastic family pets. Whilst they make good watch dogs, often barking at unfamiliar people, their sociable nature makes them poor guard dogs.
